Oxfam GB in Indonesia In Action

Hi world!

I am Josephine Imelda. Borned in Jakarta on 5th January 1976. Married with one child.

I am a simple person. Love being surrounded by families and my lovely friends but loves to be let alone sometimes. Not an ambitious type of person but I certainly have goals in life. My best friends consider me as a happy go lucky type of person.

I loves travelling, books, music, people, culture, Bali, good food, lately into healthy live, movies (I planned to be a movie director a year ago, but need to re-consider it again, due to the fact that I married now and so busy with my works and my family, so sometimes I would like to scream: HIDUP JOMBLO !!! — translation: VIVA SINGLETON!!!).

I works as a communication officer at Oxfam GB in Jakarta. Some people have not heard about Oxfam yet. So, this is a good opportunity to explain a bit about my organisation. Oxfam is a development, relief and campaigning organisation that works with others to find lasting solutions to poverty and suffering around the world.The name “Oxfam” comes from the Oxford Committee for Famine Relief, founded in Britain during the Second World War in 1942. Interesting, huh?!

Through this blog, I am hoping to be able to meet up with new people and open up a networking around the world and also to share stories about many things that evolved around me. So people, do not hesitate to leave your comment and your blog’s address, I will definetely visit your blog too.
